What Is a Soundproof Generator Canopy?
A soundproof canopy (also called close type, or acoustic enclosure) is a protective housing fitted over a diesel generator to reduce operating noise and shield the unit from weather, dust, and harsh outdoor conditions. Every generator we supply can be fitted with a canopy — making it suitable for residential areas, commercial premises, hospitals, hotels, and any location where noise or exposure is a concern.

Our enclosures achieve noise reduction between 75 and 85 dBa, bringing a standard diesel generator down to levels acceptable in urban and commercial environments across Saudi Arabia.

Canopy Construction & Materials
Built to last in the Saudi climate — from coastal humidity in Jeddah and Dammam to desert heat in Riyadh and Tabuk:

• Body and components made of Galvanized Steel sheets of the highest standards with heat-treated highly anti-corrosive powder coating.
• Black zinc die-cast locks and hinges.
• 5 cm Fiberglass Sound Insulation Material with vinyl facing, density 32 kg/m³.
• Exhaust silencing system in the interior of the enclosure.

Easy Maintenance Access

• Six access doors for full service reach.
• Lockable viewing window aligned with the control panel.
• Radiator filling access through a special cover cap on the top of the enclosure.
• Lube Oil pipe can be reached externally for easy drainage.
• Lockable doors securing the fuel fill point and battery.
